“The natural facelift”
Often referred to as the “facelift treatment” this combination of two technologies utilises your body’s own repair system to smooth, firm, and create lift to your skin. This treatment delivers dramatic results similar, if not better than ablative lasers without all the down time.
A treatment suitable for all skin types - RF Microneedling helps treat fine lines, wrinkles, skin laxity, skin tightening, deep pitted acne scarring, scars, helps refine enlarged pores, and can reduce the appearance of stretch marks.

RF microneedling combines radio frequency and microneedling treatments into one device.
It works by inserting tiny microneedles into a certain depth, while simultaneously sending radio frequency energy into the channels created in the skin.
Your body responds by sending collagen and elastin to not only heal the area but also the areas around it - eventually smoothing out minor scars, flattening out fine lines and wrinkles, as well as promoting elasticity in the skin.

After going through a few medical questions to ensure your suitability for treatment, your skin will be thoroughly cleansed.
Numbing cream is then applied to help minimise any discomfort.
The numbing is then wiped away and the RF microneedling device will be used over the treatment area (typically the face and neck).
The process usually takes just under an hour.

Once the treatment begins most patients feel a little pinch each time the microneedles enter the skin, but with the use of numbing cream the treatment is quite tolerable.
NOTE: Everyone tolerates pain differently. Some people may find this treament mor uncomfortable than others.

Following the procedure the skin is typically red and may have pinpoint bleeding for 24 hours.
For a couple of days after your treatment, your skin will be a bit pink and visable signs of the micro channels are most likely to be visable. Powder mineral makeup can be worn the day after your treatment. Then, around days 2-5 your skin will feel a bit rough.
Your skin should be looking a lot better after a week. However, real results from the treatment (wrinkle-reducing, skin tightening, acne scar lifting) may not be noticeable until anywhere form 1-3 months after you treatment.
Optimal results typically are seen after three to six months from the first treatment, and the skin continues to improve as the new collagen is produced.

It’s recommended to have a series of about three treatments, one treatment every 4-6 weeks for best results.

We do not recommend this treatment if:
you are pregnant or breastfeeding
have a history of keloid scarring
take blood thinning medication
have an active skin infection
have certain skin allergies
have a pacemaker, cardioverter, or superficial metal within the treatment area
PRECAUTIONS
It is best to avoid alcohol and any non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication prior to treatment as both may contribute to bruising following the procedure.
Stop using products that contain salicylic acid (often found in facial cleansers) before the procedure.
Please inform us if you are currently taking or have taken any blood-thinning medication as it may increase bleeding or bruising during and following the procedure.
