How does ACCOR® Plasma work?

The ACCOR® plasma pen creates a small electrical arc (plasma energy) that causes tissues to instantly retract and tighten reducing sagging, wrinkled and other excessive skin irregularities. This procedure also stimulates the production of collagen.

How is the ACCOR® Plasma Pen superior to other devices?

It is the first and only low frequency plasma pen available both in Australia and the world. It is a ‘Nurse and Doctors only’ pen which means it is much more effective and far superior to any of the other older style pens currently being used in the cosmetic industry.

How many treatments will I need?

Many cases only require one treatment, with results lasting upwards of 3-5 years. Some clients may require more than one treatment if they suffer from deeper lines that require more collagen to be made. NOTE: We require a minimum 8-week stand-down before treating the same area.

Is treatment painful?

This treatment is one of our more intense procedures, and can be uncomfortable. We use medical-grade numbing cream on the treatment area to help minimise discomfort.

Is there any downtime?

You will have dark brown carbon spots in the treated area, which will heal and peel away within five to seven days after treatment. Temporary swelling can sometimes occur, particularly with treatments around the eye area. Expected downtime will be discussed during a consult and prior to treatment. When will I see results and how long do they last?
